part of our Voya Investment Management (Voya IM) Entry Level
Analyst Program. This program, which will begin in July 2025, is
designed to develop the careers of entry level employees and
provide you with the unique opportunity to begin your career in
your respective fields while gaining hands-on experience and formal
development and training. Please Note: This position has been
designated as a hybrid-office/home role. Details of your in-office
schedule will be finalized with your manager. The Private Placement
specialist's primary role is to support the existing and new
investments in private placements, bank loans, and other
alternative asset products. In this role the specialist will handle
the workflows related to new purchases, ongoing administration, and
final settlement of the related securities. Training will be
provided in private credits and bank loans to give the Private
Market Operations analyst a working understanding of the related
legal documentation and wire instructions, and operational
knowledge of related custodial relationships, servicing agents, and
loan administrators. The Contributions You'll Make:
- Assist in the tracking and posting of amendment fees, coupon
changes, and make-whole payments.
- Identify breakouts for scheduled principal and interest
payments and track down related missing payments.
- Facilitate the transfer of private placement securities and
update related wire instructions or custodial changes when so
instructed.
- Complete confirmations and provide support for information
requests from analysts, clients, issuers, custodians, servicing
agents, and auditors.
- Communicate changes and track ongoing changes for impaired
securities.
- Provide support for the note registration, wire changes, and
related payment issues for secondary purchases and sales.
- Assist in drafting wire instruction letters per agent/issuers
requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.Preferred Knowledge & Experience:
- Applicants must be graduating with an undergraduate degree in
December 2024/Spring 2025.
- Bachelor's degree or higher with an emphasis on finance,
accounting or other business-related field.
- Strong academic standing
- High attention to detail and strong customer focus.
- Demonstrate an understanding of Investment Management
concepts.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite (Microsoft Word, Excel,
Power Point, Access and Outlook) and willingness to learn new
technology required to support job functions (e.g., BlackRock
Aladdin).
- Adaptable to work in an ever-changing multi-tasked environment
with high expectations, priorities, varying workload and strict
deadlines.
- Ability to independently and creatively resolve problems
utilizing resources inside and outside the Firm.
- Maintain and foster strong working relationships with peers,
supervisors, project leaders, and clients.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and writing skills to
effectively interact with people in and outside the
Firm.#LI-MN1Compensation Pay Disclosure: Voya is committed to pay
that's fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for
comparable roles and responsibilities. The below annual base salary
range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in
the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers
incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales
incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to
reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please
note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to
perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the
amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this
posting. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted
salary range based upon the candidate's geographic location, work
experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level
and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time
roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours
